What is the difference between preserved moss, dried moss and live moss?
Preserved moss is a natural moss that was treated with glycerin and colored with non-toxic dye. Unlike dried moss, it keeps its natural feel and look. Unlike live moss, preserved moss doesn't continue to grow or require maintenance, and it is generally more affordable.
How fast do you ship?
Most our moss wall art pieces are made-to-order, meaning we do not store them pre-made. Handling time depends on our workload at the time, but we typically stay within 3-6 weeks. Please refer to our Etsy store for the most up to date information.
Does preserved moss have any health impact?
Preserved moss is non-toxic and generally safe for humans and animals. While it's not living and hence not producing oxygen, preserved moss looks and feels natural and is believed to have cognitive benefits.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days from delivery date. Please contact us with your order information to request a return label. We will issue a full refund once the product is received. We also offer full refunds before the order is shipped. Returns and refunds do not apply to customized or personalized orders. Please contact us for more information.
How should I care for my preserved moss frames?
Preserved moss is generally low- to no maintenance. It should only be kept indoors and doesn't require watering or sunlight. It's best to keep it away from prolonged direct UV lights and heaters to preserve its colors and structure. Reindeer moss might shrink in humidity levels below 35%, in which case occasional misting or placing a humidifier nearby will bring back its shape. We don't recommend misting pieces with dried flowers.
Where should I hang it?
As long as they are indoors, preserved moss frames will do great in any room, whether it's kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, basement and workspace of any size.
