We've shipped preserved moss art all over the world from right here in Austin. But we've never done this before: gathered a small group of people to create something with their hands.
On September 19 from 11 AM to 1 PM, Mosstique is hosting our first-ever in-person moss art workshop in partnership with Hoamsy at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea in downtown Austin. Space is limited to 15 people. If you've been wanting to try moss art for yourself instead of just admiring it on a wall, this is your chance.

What to Expect
You'll spend the morning hands-on with real preserved moss. The Mosstique team will guide you as you create your own piece to take home. No prior craft experience is needed. Expect a small, relaxed group setting. With just 15 people, you'll receive plenty of one-on-one guidance if you've never worked with preserved moss before.
If you've read our guide to preserved moss wall art or tried one of our DIY kits at home, this workshop is the in-person version of that experience. This time, you'll leave with a piece you built yourself in just a couple of hours, alongside other plant and design lovers in Austin.

Why Now
We get asked constantly whether we offer classes. Until now, the honest answer was no. This workshop is our way of testing that in person, in the most Mosstique way possible: small group, real materials, a finished piece to take home, and zero pressure. If it goes well, expect more of these workshops in the future.

Do I need to RSVP separately?
No. There's no separate RSVP. Purchasing your ticket through Hoamsy secures your spot.
What's included in the ticket price?
Your ticket covers your seat in the workshop, all moss art materials and tools, guided instruction from the Mosstique team, and the finished piece you make to take home.
Do I need any experience with moss art or crafting?
No experience needed. The workshop is designed for beginners, with guided instruction throughout.
How many people can attend?
The workshop is capped at 15 people to keep the group small and hands-on. Tickets are first-come, first-served through Hoamsy.
